The Santa Barbara Museum of Art offers free admission on Thursday nights

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — The Santa Barbara Museum of Art celebrates its third Thursday with free community admission on Thursday nights from 5-8 p.m.

In addition to free admission, the museum will host famed Santa Barbara DJ Darla Bea performing on the front patio from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and free raffle entry for a chance to win a bag full of “artful treasures” from the museum shop.

There will be a free Ten Talks for Going Global guide at 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. during the free admission period, as well as artist-led arts activities at the Family Resource Center from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The museum will also display artist Awol Erizku’s recently installed iconic portrait bust, Nerfetiti – Miles Davis at the Visitor Services desk at the State Street entrance.

The museum will be offering a discount on its annual membership during the event only, with the price dropping to just $55.
