“Falls Pine Dragz” arrives at the Children’s Museum of Montana

The museum invites the public to come watch or participate in what it calls “Falls Pine Dragz”.

A registration fee of $ 15 will include entry to the races and a kit to build your own car.

In addition to the children’s races, the museum also allows adults to enter vintage pine cars.

Museum attendance typically drops in the fall when the school year begins – so this fundraising is important to keeping the museum open.

Museum Director Sherrie Neff explained, “This fundraiser is our fall fundraiser because when the kids go back to school it’s kind of our slowest time of year. . And so instead of raising the prices and making it harder for the families who come in, this is our way of creating a little extra income for the slack period.
