Coloma Library Reading Program Students Visit Coloma Museum
1930s schoolteacher Penelope Penny (played by Pat Power of Coloma) gave children and adults a glimpse of a rural school hall from this period.
The historical society of the region of Coloma, in collaboration with the summer reading program of the public library of Coloma, on July 15, presented seven station presentations at the ACSS museum and at the house of cars, located in the park of the village of Coloma.
There were 35 children and 17 adults (parents / accompanying adults) present. The summer reading program meets at 10 a.m. on Thursday, and will run until August 5. The program is open to the public, according to Preston de Bolt, director of the Coloma Public Library.

Barb Burrows, CAHS Secretary, was involved in the planning, publicity and photography for CAHS files. Ron Selenske distributed treats to attendees at the end of the event.
